Self-guided Sunnybank $2 Food Trail returns for winter with biggest foodie offering yet
Foodies of Brisbane, rejoice! The Sunnybank $2 Food Trail Winter Edition is set to return on Saturday 18 June boasting its biggest authentic Asian culinary offering to date.
Grab some gold coins and get ready to take your taste buds on a self-guided foodie adventure â€“ exploring and sampling a huge array of delicious $2 mini-dishes on offer from over 40 local restaurants and vendors that youâ€™ve come to know and love!
The award-winning food trail has become one of Brisbaneâ€™s most popular bi-annual foodie experiences, attracting thousands of Brisbane locals to the precinct and securing a prominent position on Brisbaneâ€™s culinary radar.
The 2015 summer trail saw over 14,000 people descend on Sunnybank Plaza and Sunny Park to feast on the variety of cuisines on offer, including Chinese, Japanese, Hong Kong Style, Vietnamese, Taiwanese and more!
The 2016 winter menu will feature an abundance of mouth watering winter dishes â€“ thinkÂ steaming noodle soups, spicy BBQ stir-fries, delicious deep fried dim sum, fresh banh mi rolls, steamed custard buns, pan fried dumplings and more!
On top of the record 42 restaurants involved and 84 tasty menu items on offer, Asahi will also be joining the epic food trail for 2016, with a pop-up bar at Sunny Park, so you can stop in and sip on a refreshing cold beer along the way.
As always, there will be loads of live music and entertainment at every corner of the trail, with over 20 talented local musicians and roaming performers. Plus FREE balloons for the kids and everyoneâ€™s favourite traditional lion dancers!
