It’s not just a Cafe, and it’s not just a gift shop; it’s Little Fox Lane! Simply put, the Aspley business combines the most beautiful things in life; creamy coffees, nourishing cold pressed juices, succulent plants and cute homewares. Owned and brought to life by Brisbane mother Lisa, and her two daughters Sara and Emma, Little Fox Lane would have to be one of the most interesting jaunts I’ve come across in Brisbane.

Tell us about Little Fox Lane and how did it came to be.
We always loved the idea of combining coffee and home decor, but [for a long time] opening a shop was always just a dream. One day we found the perfect location and said to ourselves, “What if we actually did it?” Once we spoke those words we went full speed into planning and sourcing for our store. Sometimes you have to take a chance.
What was the inspiration behind Little Fox Lane?
Our inspiration came from our love of home decor – we are always on the lookout for exciting decor stores, and we try to source homewares that are unique and hard to come by. Little Fox Lane was influenced from our favourite brick and mortar shops as well as online stores. We also loved the idea of having our own coffee shop, so we thought it would make us unique to blend them together. We want our customers to be able to sit and enjoy a beverage or light snack from our menu in a homely environment.
I don’t have a favourite, but at the moment, an Iced coffee goes down well in these warmer days.
What’s the most exciting thing about owning your own business, and when did you first realise you wanted to create Little Fox Lane?
I think the most exciting thing is watching the business evolve and meeting new people along the way.
What is the inspiration behind the name?
We are a bit useless with coming up of exciting/ fun names, so we all chose a word that we liked and jumbled them together to make “Little Fox Lane”. The story is exciting, I know (laughs).
